july four: red, white and blue. (well, mostly)

Very Red raspberries for breakfast.
Reader Rabbit.

an imp in the Faery Garden.
We finished up our stick weavings.
And made rockets, of a sort.(Just fill clear film canisters 3/4 the way full of soda, put the lid on, and shake! And don't blast your eye out.)

Firework paintings!
Maddie liked to get a running start so she could fling the paint better.

"Mama, can I watch Complex Words?" asks Madeleine.

Rain in the sunshine.
Maybe not red white, and blue, but definitely sparkly.

"Mom,... so the Earth is always making new islands?"

"Mom,... what would a squished fly look like?"

Another explosion... diet coke and mentos this time.

Parachutes!
Picnic.
A Fourth of July Picnic... with fried chicken and watermelon and lemonade... you know.

Sparklified our pool.
Here's a little Water Sprite Magic for you....
if you make air bubbles on the top of your pool (in the sunshine), you'll see beautiful sparkling stars on the bottom of your pool! They're very fine. Surely sprite blessings!

Constellations!

Yarrow hangin' on the line (gotta get some of that goodness buried in the garden)

more of everything

made up games

baseball

harmonica playin'

and I don' know what else.

They're still goin', those babes of mine... and I'm ready for my book. :)

Prob'ly we'll see you tomorrow.
