the living : saturday

Today the living looked like an early-morning stop at the neighborhood bakery for breakfast.

Soon we were heading into downtown and the Black Box theater for African Drums...

 ...drumming and dancing.
To lunch,
and a stop at the Brazilian festival for a few minutes to soak up some liveliness.

Walking downtown, searching out grotesques and gargoyles.

To the library....

for reading
and art
and a room full of kids playing Zoo Tycoon.

 Eventually a tired walk back to where we had began it all that morning.

Life is good.
