there's magic afoot

We're sittin' at the kitchen table.
"What does this say?"
"Platecarpus."
"And this one?"
"Globidens."
"This one?"
"Clidastes."
He points to each, tapping it.
"One, two three. Boom-a-boomia. Boom-a-boomia. Boom-a-boomia."

It went on like this for several pages.
It finally dawned on me there was a method going on here...
"Is that your magic word?" his Mama asked.
"It's my spell."
"Aaaaah. To bring the dinosaurs to life?"
"Yup."
