Yesterday Eric and Trev had plans to go skiing.
At first Madie was very upset, but after an outing in the morning to the Very Exciting Office Depot, and to Harmons for yeast and chocolate chips, we had decided that we were going to have a very interesting day, not to be outdone by their adventures!!
We played with Cootie, our new game, and laid on the couch for just a moment.
First we read A Family of Poems, and then she looked at pictures while I read Anne of Green Gables.
She drifted off a while later.
I soon followed.
All of our plans were dreamed away.
But it was a very lovely nap.
Do you have house rules for Cootie? We can never stand to play it the way they say in the instructions.
