We were invited to hang out with friends at their home today.
Trev's been waking up earlier (and going to bed earlier) and before ten this morning he was dressed - with shoes!- and told me he was ready to go.
I was just getting out of bed! (I'd been finishing yesterday's post.)
With the wagon piled high with our Adventure Pack, lunch, squirt guns and a Muppet (a puppet - Maddie calls them Muppets) we finally managed to get out of our gate.
The day was full of sunshine, splashing, shouting, laughing, games, pretend play, giggles, jumping, olives, cucumbers, and cookies.
And hot hot sun.
Summertime was welcomed.
That sounds so fun!
ReplyDeleteSummer (and it is only day 2) here, already, is hitting the point where if you intend to be outside, do it by 10 am or after 7 pm. Unless, of course there is a pool involved. It does get hot in the South.
