Grandma came to visit us today!
Right away we whisked her off to our favorite lunch place, where we happened to run into our friends. Imagine that!
Home again, home again, jiggety jig.
The day before we made some plastered leaf impressions (Maddie made a handprint, instead), but since his Mama accidentally broke Trevelyn's, we went for Round Two.
With Grandma, this time - which was twice as nice.
A handprint and a leaf print this time for both of them. We'll give Grandma Madd's second handprint.
After they were dry, they were painted.
We'll be making lots more of these, I think - I'd like some with pressed pines still in them, with some bright holly berries. Maybe we'll even make some for gifts.
Costume modeling. And admiring.
Grandma went home and we consoled ourselves with carving jack our o'lanterns.
"Mom - doesn't this say 'RIP, Boo To You'?"(Not challenging words, of course, but none-the-less, it was accurate, and he's just reading random things.)
