Holly and Shauna - thanks for your comments and kind words! We enjoyed this project, and even though we made ours just last year, I still marvel at how small and babyish they are! I hope my mother will love them. Stephanie
Thanks for this idea! I made it with my daughter's preschool class (17 three-year-olds), and they all just loved it. I strung some little jingle bells onto the yarn while connecting the mittens together (snipped small holes into the corned of each mitten so I could lace the yarn through easily with a needle) to make it even more festive. Thanks again, and happy holidays!
Isn't it funny how things so simple can be so cute? I think I'll dig out the felt, embroidery floss and sequins and set my 5 and my 10 to work.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! We have some felt scraps from making felt food, and this would be a great project for my 7-year-old.

What a great idea. I could also imagine them as little advent mittens with treats inside (instead of stuffed).
