the beginning

We're not sure what's going to become of this study... but that's the point of a study, isn't it?

So here you have it.
Day one of our documentary. (Which takes place upon our tree stump - where it can remain undisturbed by Annabelle Fierce Charlie Snowdog.)

December 19, 2008
First measurement: 3:41 pm
Something very near 8 1/2 inches.
Weather conditions: snowing- fine, dry powder.

Over and out.

  2. That is fun. We got a little weather station that mounts on the deck and measures wind speed and temp...really basic, but still cool to see. It is a good idea to measure total snowfall depth during the season. Hope that is a long measuring stick! :D

  3. Denise - it's a meter stick! :)
I would love to see it up near the top.
It's been several years since we've had snow like that.
