December 27

Today we tried out a new recipe for play-dough.And played.

And braved tall mountains.

And made friendly with our neighborhood Downy Wood-Pecker.

And played Long Enough...
and made Enough Noise....
that eventually other neighborhood children
came out To Play.
And then there was more Joy to be had.

We dug for dinosaur skulls. And other treasures that might be found.

We filled up our bird feeders with love. And black sunflower seeds. (That's their favorite.)

We felled icicles

and played with chemistry
and watched cartoons.

We noticed the birds had eaten the popcorn that was hanging outside with the cranberries, so we strung some more.

Not sure what the rest of the day shall hold, but the Mama is cuddling in on the couch, her nose buried in a book.

'Night, then.

  1. I just love reading your blog. You make even the simplest everyday things sound fabulous. Which they are, of course!

    That's the point, of course.
To recognize the magic in the Living.

And to make the "Special Occasions" every day occurrences.

That's the way I think it Outta Be. :)
