You know those really slow and beautiful sort of days?
They're quiet...
... and uneventful.
They're played with softly
and experienced as if riding on a song.
Do you know them?
The ones where you find yourself smiling at your babes all day
with your heart
over nothing more than sunlight shining onto their heads thru the window
and
being so enchanted with their confessed secrets and ideas
and all you can do is sigh
and sigh
and you feel so blessed
to know that it's nothing, really
but that it's everything...
Really.
Love, love, love, love, LOVE this post and these photos!
ReplyDeleteOh, deep breath!
ReplyDeleteI needed that :-)
And I love the photos too.
What a beautiful post and photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that. Both the words and the photos are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow. That was so beautiful-you know the kind of beautiful that you have to run and get your husband so you can share it with him? And I don't do that often. Loved it!

ReplyDeleteI love the wildness of the first photo combined with the quietness of the second.

ReplyDeletelovely observation... the days when a family finds a groove, lives in harmony.... good stuff :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you spend your days. The busy ones and the quiet ones. You always seem to know how to appreciate whatever a day brings. We've been sick and cranky this week, so I could use some lessons on that. ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. Lovely writing. Lovely day! :)
ReplyDeleteI know and cherish those days. Its a good gig this mom thing huh?
ReplyDeleteThe best. Absolutely the very best kind of days.
ReplyDeleteNothing and everything. Funny how they often go hand in hand.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect day. The pictures and words describe it perfectly: that floating, soft, wonder-filled feeling of just being together.
