April 11: In Like a Lion

Today's been one of those funny sorts of days...
the kind of day that makes you smile at the banality, and makes you feel a wry kinship with all of Humanity.

There have been dominoes played on the kitchen floor

snuggles

the planting of onions

and radishes,

Monstrous Behavior
(some in jest, and some in utter seriousness)

tears

snuggles

apologies

reading

a nap on the couch

quiet

patched up scuffed toes

screams of vexation

whispers

sighs

hugs

and rain.

And now it's 5:17, and All is Well.
