Girl Power

"Mom! Trev!... I made a Discoverment!" she exclaims as she races into the house.

Which her Mama is proudly supposing means a cross of an Experiment and a Discovery.
Yup, Mama smiles. That's the way we like to do things around here.

  7. Wonderful! "Discoverment" reminds me of Benjamin's favorite verb, "sciencing."

Used in a sentence: "Mom, where is my magnifying glass...I'm gonna go sciencing."

She was fishing things out of and tossing things into our little pond to see what was floating and what would sink. Among them, to her amazement, one of the dinosaurs floated... all the rest sink.

  10. Very cool, Stephanie. Discoverment is empowering, isn't it? I have a hard time bridling my enthusiasm a little and letting the wonder and questions grow of their own. :D I'm still learning, too!
