Oh my goodness, the babes were Wild Things this morning!
Actually, wild dinosaurs. First, anyway.
They roared and chased and eeked and squealed and chased and hid and took cover and had take-downs and on and on.
Mama kept telling herself, "Hold on.... we're going to the park.... we're going to the park.... we're going to the park...."
A bit of a litany, that.
Maddie settled long enough to help me tend to the rose petal beads...
then more wild play...
and then imagination play with sticks and guns and General Custard :) and Ivan the Terrible and Al Capone.... hmmmm, methinks a bit of research is in order over the next few days....
Trev sings Bob Dylan's Blowin' in the Wind in the shower...
:)
And we're off!
(Like a herd of turtles, as we always say...)
To the park (and to the children's museum)!
Thank goodness.
With friends. These and these.
Woohoo!Yep.
Grit.
Oh boy do I know that wild dinosaur energy! The walls cannot contain it. Definitely time to get to the park.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
Fun day. The park is oozing with kid goodness.
ReplyDeleteLove the pink tutu :0)
Sounds like you got there just in the nick of time. ;)
ReplyDelete"like a herd of turtles"--lol, love that! :)
Oh I've had days like that! Full of fun and adventure and wildness...and I'm always glad to share those days with friends!
ReplyDeletebtw, you take beautiful pictures. :)
I am exhausted just looking at the pictures. The energy is so lovely. Exhausting, but lovely. :)
ReplyDeleteNeat day! Looks like everyone had a lot of fun, learned a bunch, and spent some quality time together as a family. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYour children's museum looks alot like our Techniquest center; our kids love it.
