two days: the other side

We've played Bloxorz

we're playing with mathematics

we have learned about Magellan
-and his trip-

and played Animal Genius.

We've played with puzzles

dressed up

looked through art books for projects we'd like to try

colored

and tidied up.

We've talked to especially beloved ones about "mild" heart attacks

broken things (accidentally) that we treasure

and have eaten marshmallows when we're hungry.

We've read some of Pippi

and had quiet time alone...

just to "think and listen to the birds".

We've attended a cousin's birthday party

and one of us had his first sleep over
- it 'took' this time.

We've taken care of business with the truck, the state, the city library, book clubs, Costco, and our local grocers.

More of all of that today...
but some regular o.l.m. too, I hope.

  1. Congratulations on the sleep over!

And I'm sorry about the heart attack - I hope your loved one is doing better.

    Sounds like a busy day!

  2. It sounds like a mostly lovely day, except for breaking things and conversations about "mild heart attacks". I certainly hope everyone in your life is well.

  3. We, too, have spoken of heart attacks and read some of Pippi. Major contrast between the two.
