home

today was a Home day.

i don't necessarily mean At Home - though we were.

i mean.... a slow,

easy,
drifting

peaceful
easy

om

sort-of-Home-day.
:)

if you know what i mean.

i mentioned the other day
that i don't much feel
that i've really
"settled into"
winter, yet.

still runnin'
and busy
and rushin....

haven't stood still, it doesn't seem,
in a while.

and then the other day
when i stood in that gushing,
slopping,
sogging mud
(and it was very, very cold)
something changed, inside me.

maybe it was like
a memory happened, or something...
i don't know.

but though i hadn't been aware
of being separate
from That
(Mama Nature, mud, raw earth, worms, green things, Rest, peace, the Still)
in that moment
of Reconnect
i saw that i was,
Separate.

and my natural inclination today
was to...
pause,
i guess.
and sink into.

and Quiet,
and Be.

and it was apparent
that that was what It (the day, the Moment) wanted,

for it's what we all Did.

so that's been our day.

and,
as always,

it is Enough.

  7. Your home is so lovely and full of all that warm light....

I love out time-out days at home when we just settle in , quiet our bodies and get lost in a book.

  8. It is enough. Beautiful to just BE, and sometimes so hard to look at what is right in front of us. Kudos to you for seeing the beauty where it is.
