april ninteen: perfect. just that.

blossoms fall from the sky

and my Little Son plays -

imagination takes off,
noises abound
legos
and sand
and mosters
all come together -
brought to life.

digging holes for golf.

the beginnings of dandelion wine.

"Mama,"
says little Madd,
"is it a good day for This?"
meaning mud and water and toys and bridges
and wherever The Story takes her.
"It's a perfect day for that, babe."

backyard play.
wearing underwear.
only that.

Cooper's Hawk (our neighborhood hawk)

Sacajawea

pink floyd
bob marley
love and rockets
jimmy buffet

a walk to the store

more mud

bouncing yogis

garden
sun
warm

croquet

...beautiful.
it was of those days -
wonderful in every way.
joyful,
easy,
peaceful...

perfect.
just that.

oh-- and this one goes to This Beautiful Life.  Because it is.

one more p.s.-  will be mostly offline, having a plug problem with my laptop-- we'll see how willing I'll be to sit here at the children's computers.  :)  I'll be back on Friday regularly.

Love the mud pit. We don't have one. Perhaps I should be brave and make on this year...
