Eidolons - Yeah, watercolor pencils. First we drew, then set them outside. After they blended (Maddie made one, too, but she didn't like how it turned out, so I didn't show it), we brought them in and put liquid water color over it, and set them out again. When we brought them back in we blotted the water and blue off a bit with a paper towel. It was a fun project! :)
I love it all! The watercolor, the mini sandbox, the art w/ rolled paper (which I had forgotten about but must teach my youngsters ASAP!) Thanks for the great ideas!! :)
Ok, that rolled-up paper art must be shown to certain kids I know tomorrow. It's gorgeous! Your days always look so beautiful.

We'll be tucked in today with some rainy day activities as well.... the rolled paper is lovely ~ almost like quilling.
