ReplyDeleteThere are mostly really early shells - pre-dinosaur era - around here (closer to home).
ReplyDeleteAmmonites, shells, clams, things like that.
Now I need a trip to New Hampshire. Those rivers are calling me!
ReplyDeleteThat is one sweet photo of Maddie on the fence with her Dad.
ReplyDeleteGreat, great photos - what a day you all must have had!
My oldest is *obsessed* with Spore. I try not to let it annoy me (I can't even figure out why it does). I will give it that it's opened a lot of good discussions about a diverse array of things.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing day you all had...and your pictures are gorgeous. I think my favourite is the tree in front of the rain cloud. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a heavenly day.
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh! Seriously gorgeous photos! What a lovely time you must have had!
ReplyDeleteStephanie your photos are breath-taking!! Love the water ones...and especially the tree w/clouds!

Fantastic planning and what a trip! That is an adventure, for sure!
ReplyDeleteWonderful... Awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteYou sure live in a pretty area. Really? You guys are wearing jackets? We are still in 90-100 degree weather!
ReplyDeletePhyllis - the elevation of where we were at yesterday (Crystal Lake, in the high Uinta's) is 10,220 feet. It's high, and cool.
ReplyDeleteThat first picture of Maddie with the dinosaur is genius. Love it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely day.

ReplyDeleteif we had facepaints, I think I would not ever Ever see it untainted.

I just love how you make it a priority to take your kids out in nature so much - even just by creating such a beautiful backyard.
