The morning began with a cool breeze and a particularly delicious feeling.
Sundays are like that, sometimes.
With a tall glass of iced tea in hand, banana muffins sounded like a fine idea.
Madd thought so too. So she helped.
Herbal studies were began - it's time for the gathering of chamomile and peppermint, yarrow and spearmint, lemon balm and mullein.
Today looks like Draw, Play! on the trampoline.
Tracing shadows.
Giggles and robots.
And swimming.
Cowboy Junkies, Cat Stephens, Chris Isaac into the backyard.
mmmmmm. : )
It's one of those magical and easy sort of days.
They can't be explained,
but I'm sure you know what I mean.
The kind..
where you...
if you give yourself into the moment...
there's nothing to do - except close your eyes,
toss back your head,
open your arms
-as wide open as your heart-
and sigh
and be so, so grateful.
Yeah.
One of those sorts of days.
We finished out our day in the best sort of way -
laughing and loving with friends.
sigh.
Just lovely.
You are by far the coolest person ever.

ReplyDeleteI do know those sorts of days!! Love the flower art!
ReplyDeleteI am super-freakied by trampolines, but the other day we were at K-mart (I know, but they have wide-mouthed Mason jar lids!), and I saw that the big trampolines were on sale.
ReplyDeleteSo I said to my man, "Hey, Matt! The trampolines are on sale!"
Oh, dear. There may well be a trampoline in our future one of these days.
Oh, and the story's point--it's all because of you, my trampoline-lover friend!
we love it.
