first hot cuppa ' the year. not sure how I feel about that.
thanks go to our freckled friends HRMJ and D, D, and M for the peace flags reminder.
there have been the usuals.
mostly mama has been sittin' around today,
hemmin' and hawin',
thinkin' maudlin thots. : )
and songs drift out the smallest window to my patio seat...
rrrrrr... quack, quack, quack, quack...
rrrrr.... from the bathtub.
netflix -
"Panyo"'s up!
how wonderful.
an' then here i sit doing This...
the babes continue to love and then irritate eachother madly,
honey cooks dinner,
and the soft stillness drifts over me again.
and so it is that life continues on as usual.
we'll take it.
Love the peace flags - and I know what you mean about the cocoa - been holding off on that myself - it's such a symbol of the season.
ReplyDeleteSending you a magic broom to sweep the maudlin thoughts away-let me know if I can help in any way :)
I love the peace flags and your new blog banner. Simply beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the peace flags! I'm all about painting on fabric lately--thinking about having the babes design a couple of skirts this week...
ReplyDeleteLove your day! I too am enjoying warm cups of things, and sadly transitioning to what will be the cold MN winters. . . Sigh!

Beautiful. As much as I can get done in a week! I love the bunting. I have been meaning to make one, but just never seem to get around to it. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour days are so lovely to read about. The flags are beautiful. And that hot cuppa... we've been having them up here for a little while now. The cooler weather is definitely here. :) xx
ReplyDeleteI'm really resistant to the season change this year, which is crazy because I usually am ready for the change to happen!
ReplyDeleteI'm still draggin' my feet and turning a blind eye to the sun setting earlier (7:30?!) and the days getting chillier.
oh, i love the flags and the banner! flags are on our list this fall too...was just gifted some fabric markers, so maybe sooner than later? we'll see...yours turned out beautifully.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flags! I love them :-)
