it was nice and cool this morning... a perfect morning for making blueberry muffins.
madd thought so, too.

we went out into the garden, the three of us, for a little while, to see what was happening.

one of us got the plums ready for another holiday batch of Plum Brandy
while another played zootycoon2

Some Porcupines Wrestle.
(another great library book, this one with such treasures as:
"Right after he hatches, the male anglerfish grabs onto his sister with his teeth and
hangs the skin of the female actually grows around him.  He is now a part of her.
As the female grows, the male remains a small addition growing out of her skin,
becoming useful only when he is needed to fertilize her eggs.")

all perfect accompaniments for cold(ish) and clouds and dark.

  4. I need to make us some pretzels. Isaac would love that. (And so would Fred and I. I'm afraid they'd be gone that same evening...but that's fine.)

LOVE the photos of the nakedness on the computer. Kids being FREE - there isn't a better sight.
