did you know?
today we were promised another goodly bit of sunshine, so we headed out to Antelope Island, which is in the Great Salt Lake.
we were in search of buffalo!!
(technically it's 'bison', but personally, i prefer the old west term.)

it's very early season in these parts, still.
we've only really seen warm for about two days.
would we find our desert friends? lizards... antelope... bison???

hmmm.
found marsh hawks.

and a flock of pelicans!

hey!
bison! way out there.

hmmm.
lizards.
but only one or two, dangit.

what?
exploring at the ranch.
which is Fielding Garr Ranch... one of the oldest working ranches in the western part of the U.S.
(and has the oldest un-moved building in Utah.)
so we explored.
awesome!!
