Now to get the babies on board....
Eventually they followed in the trail of their dad and I.
Into the woods we go.
Beaver habitat...
including a beaver trail--a hill of mashed grass and mud for sliding down (and into the water), a lodge, a tree ready for a shout of "Tim-ber!!!!" and the pond.
Excellent.
I had been fretting that I had missed the Glory. Autumn doesn't last very long in the mountains.
Not to worry.
Mama Nature doesn't believe in being disappointing, I reckon.
Wonderful photos! Thanks for sharing the beauty :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your nature walks!
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine the BIG smile on your face as you viewed your uploaded photos for the first time!
ReplyDeleteThey are really beautiful :)
Thanks Tina and Phyllis!
ReplyDeleteKelly - mostly I'm just relieved--
one that I have a camera, and two that it's not operationally very different than my last one! :) (I have a much better understanding of things than I had thought.)
But having full function of my hands, head, and heart again is very, very nice.
Beautiful pictures! I especially love the dirt trail leading into the hills. What state do you live in?
ReplyDeleteWe're in Salt Lake City, Utah.
ReplyDeleteI always wondered where you were...great photos. I love the butterfly and acorn myself. You are such a talented photographer!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Fall is so perfect, isn't it?
