the good thing about micro-gardens
(well... actually there are lots of wonderful things about them, but the good thing here)
is that when you stir, weed, shape, plan for, plant, and mulch two or three in an afternoon
-no mater how small-
there is a wonderful, blissful feeling of accomplishment.
it doesn't matter to me in the slightest what another's idea of Garden is. mine are all gardens.
the fenced garden.
the herb garden.
the shade garden.
the green garden (this is the pond garden--all green and white).
the medicine garden.
the fairy garden (which is the butterfly/hummingbird garden).
the rose patio.
the berm.
the other patio garden.
the "side".
the front garden.
the side yard.
see? lots.
but even if you have a hundred gardens...
if you love thoroughly only one, of an afternoon..
it will most certainly
-and profoundly-
love you back.
All beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day!
Oh, now I am longing for blooms and blossoms. Soon, very soon.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, thank you so much for your blog. I don't subscribe to many anymore, but I look for yours every day--they bring such a feeling a peace and serenity and remind me that I can have that as well, if I so choose.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
sigh...
ReplyDeleteReading this post was like breathing fresh spring air and I needed it. It's still snowing here, so thank you for the beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures & the snipits you share about your unschooling day...but I must know - what kind of camera do you use?!? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have the Canon EOS Digital Rebel T2i SLR... also known as the 550D, in Europe.
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me to get off my depressed butt and sort out my garden (rather scruffy and unloved looking, even for a winter garden). Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Funny, I started a post on monday about our gardens too. Side garden, front garden, back garden:) Gotta get some photos to accompany now.
