There is an old verse,
somewhere,
about May's Garden.
I don't remember how it goes,
but I do know
that May is the composer
-and conductor-
of a most lively,
fanciful
tune.
The spirit of it
goes something like...
"Every single day,
this world grows.
Every single day,
it changes."
Grapes
And I so love
And I so love
Gazania
this exhilarating
this exhilarating
and breathless
dance!
It is a beautiful dance!

ReplyDeleteSo many pretties!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite dances. :)
ReplyDeleteBtw...do your gazania overwinter? I had some last year...but they are considered annuals here. I tried to sow seeds I had saved but they have not germinated. Too bad. I loved them so - same colour as the one in your picture. :)
Debbie - sorry, forgot to answer you.
ReplyDeleteI planted gazanias before, but they were on the berm (same place as this year) and the berm was tilled and then left alone last year... so nothing was there. This year we started it over again.
So I don't know. ?? The soil is really rich this year, so if I can keep Annabelle off of it, it's primed for perennials. We'll see what comes back!
So much goodness around your home. :)
