october's days

I so love October's days.  And moments.
The garden has been frozen,

 but thankfully there are a few hardy beauties to soften the blow.

We got to celebrate our beloved friend.

And we reacquainted ourselves with our favorite (indoor) pool.

The children were introduced to a favorite spot of their daddy's....

and then this happened....

Maddie got a new bed.  Which meant a small rearrangement in her room.... and thus a rearrangement of our entire house.  Well--seemed that way, anyway.
And so it began....
that our

whole

house

began

to be

-thoroughly-

sparklified.

We're still working on it, currently.
But almost done!

After several days of that.....

...and then to the Observatory... to see bits of the Universe. 

Yesterday looked like
a costume party,

play at the park,

and an adventure at the Farm.

It's a goodly sort of life.
