I'm painting Trevelyn's walls plaid.
So of course I start out with a few "T"'s.
"Hey, Mom.... do you think you could write my name all over my room?"
"Well," um - no, "That wasn't part of the plan.... do you want me to write your name on it?"
"Yeah. Because that will show Manliness of me."
It was safe to laugh, he was in the bath, and couldn't hear me, "Is that right?" his Mama choked out.
"Yeah - it'll mark my territory."
"Aaaaaah."
love it! love it! love it!
ReplyDeleteso which one is it? plaid or the name? and are you gonna show photos?
lol.
ReplyDeleteWell, I had already started, so....
I was thinking that if he wants his name on it, we can work something out. But it's plaid.
Three colors are up - the other two tomorrow.
Yup, I'll post pics.
But it might not be what you expect - it's an informal, wobbly plaid, not measure-and-tape plaid.
I was worried at first (the first color) but now it's more like what I had planned!
The colors will be gorgeous with his pictures and maps.
I'm exited!
Bahahahaha!!!
ReplyDeleteAh bless, that is so sweet! hehehehehe.
ReplyDeleteLol! I love the things kids say - they're never what I'm expecting :-)
ReplyDeletethat is so trev.
ReplyDeletefunny kid.
I love things like that. My boys are constantly saying things that SLAY me. So fun.
ReplyDeleterofl, how very alpha male of him. I love the plaid idea, you'll have to post pictures when you finish. :)
ReplyDeleteMark his territory - I love it! It reminds me of the other day D was asking about all the initials carved into the bench at the park. Its a human impulse.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the plaid! Sounds very cool and creative.
Hahahahahaha, I think I just sputtered coffee on the computer screen, thanks for the laugh this morning :)
