Take a handful of moss.
Toss it in the blender with two cups of milk.
Blend it well. (Make sure no one drinks it!!)
Paint or pour it onto surfaces that you can see and check on.... rocks, bricks, walkways, cracks and crevices.
Check on it every few days to see its progress.Your moss will look very similar to the original moss!

Awesome! I can't wait to be back home in the lush Pacific NW where moss is everywhere. Do you think it would work with soy milk?

Since we live in the desert, and moss can be hard to come by, I didn't want to take any chances, and I made it with cow's milk. (and since my daughter wouldn't be drinking it. lol)
I'm just really not sure!

ReplyDeleteI wish we lived someplace where moss will actually grow. (We live in Colorado and every year it seems to get dryer and dryer.) Maybe we need to work on creating a little moist microclimate.
