august nineteen: sweet abundance

look to the goodness, i was thinking.

not because life is difficult at the moment, and i needed a reminder to appreciate
the things that are right and fine
-though always a good idea-
but because, as i shared with a friend the night before,
things are right and fine...
and i have a need
for kissing the One
and
saying thank you!.

so here is what i found today.



gazillions of bees buzzzing my backyard.
today it's peppermint.


watching the hummingbird
at the butterfly bush


and then at the catnip and roses.

morning sun on babies.


a bright blue dragonfly

excitement


beauty


promises
of
Good Things To Come


swashbuckling grils


a party!


... a super terrific party....


-with reading-


and a sack race

and dress up

and grown-up time

and hats.
very fine Hats.

and then if you can believe it,
after a fashion


another party.


at our house this time.


just a wee one that looked like an impromptu supper with friends.
